Development for the Verallia Design Award wins the German Packaging Award in the "Young Talent" category.

Felicia Kopitzke, Sophia Huber and Daniela Betz won the Verallia Design Award in July 2019 for their special nut snacks glass packaging. Now they received the German Packaging Award in the "Young Talent" category. The three have achieved something special: Sustainability - in this case through possbile secondary use - in an "exceptionally aesthetic way", as the jury of the German Packaging Award has now judged.

The Master's students from the Stuttgart Media University designed the glass jar with the attractive cap connection for the Verallia Design Award. The jury of Verallia Germany was already impressed by the overall concept of the design. A success that is also based on Verallia Deutschland's long-standing cooperation with the packaging division of the Stuttgart Media University.

The fact that the winning model of the Verallia Design Award was now also successful at the German Packaging Award 2019 impressively confirms the verdict of the jury of Verallia Germany. The three junior packaging developers have thus prevailed in the "Young Talent" category at the "largest European packaging exhibition". The competition, which is held under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, has been honouring exceptional packaging solutions across industries and materials since 1963. This year, entries from 14 nations were assessed. 34 particulary innovative solutions were able to assert themselves in the end in a strong field of participants. The prize will be presented on 24 September in Nuremberg at the FachPack trade fair.
